Q: How much are the annual dues? When are they past due? Where do I mail my check?

A: The annual dues are $480 per lot per year.  Dues for 2025 are considered past due April 1, 2025.  Dues received before April 1st will receive a $30 discount for a total payment of $450.00.  Dues received after April 1st will be $480.00.  Make checks payable to Hunters Ridge Legacy HOA with a reference to your lot number in the memo.  Mail your payment to Sisbro Properties P.O. Box 405 Myrtle Beach, SC 29578.

 

Q: Will the community pool be open for the 2025 season?

A: Yes, the pool will be opened May 1, 2025 and closed October 1, 2025.  All pool cards have been programmed into the system and card numbers assigned to each homeowner.  Should you have any problems with your pool key, please contact Sisbro Properties at 843-626-8797.

 

Q: What are the community pool guidelines for use?

A: The pool is for Legacy homeowners only. All guests must be accompanied by a homeowner...if the homeowner leaves then the guest must leave.  NO alcoholic beverages permitted in pool area.  The pool area is a tobacco free zone. NO glass permitted in the pool area. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. The pool is monitored by cameras...vandalism will not be tolerated.

 

Q: What if I lose my pool access card?

A: The cost for replacement is $25.00. Notify us through email at hrlegacypool@gmail.com or by phone at 843-685-3218 and we will coordinate getting you a new card.

 

Q: What do I do about pets/strays roaming the neighborhood?

A: It is against Horry County Code and Legacy Rules to have any pet roaming off of homeowner property. Horry County Animal Control's number is 843-248-1520.

Q: What is the leash law in Horry County?

A: There isn't an actual leash law in the county. There is a public nuisance ordinance that states that the animal must be on the owner's property or on or under the owner's control at all times. Pets cannot run at large.

 

Q: What if there is a street light out on my street?

A: Get the pole number from the street light and report the outage to Sisbro Properties at 843-626-8797.

 

Q: What if I want to make modifications to the exterior of my home?

A: Any changes to the exterior of your home must be submitted and approved before beginning any work.  Access necessary forms on the ARB page of the website.

The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Hunters Ridge Legacy state:

"Except for original and initial construction of improvements by the Declarant or its designated residential builder, no building, fence, wall or other structure shall be commenced, erected or maintained upon the Properties, nor shall any exterior addition to or change, including paint color, or alteration therein be made until the plans and specifications showing the nature, kind, shape, height, materials and location of the change shall have been submitted to and approved IN WRITING..."

Failure to comply with the Architectural Review Criteria can result in a fine of $500.

 

Q:  How will road repairs be funded?

A:  The cost for road resurfacing is currently, as of 2024, $1,200,000 or $8,275 per lot.  The HOA Board has been meeting with the county to discuss a path forward to develop a special taxing district.  See the July and September 2024 Meeting Minutes for historical context.

 

Q:  Will future road work include the medians in an effort to minimize traffic bottlenecks? 

A:  If the HOA board secures final approval for a special taxing district and thereby transitioning from private to county roads, the medians can be removed during the paving process.        

 

Q: Are the HOA dues increasing for 2025? 

A: The HOA dues will remain the same for 2025.
