President’s Remarks:

The July 2023 meeting minutes were approved.
All HOA board positions are up for re-election at the Annual Meeting. If you are interested in holding an office, your intention of candidacy needs to be submitted no later than October 27, 2023.
Plantation gate access cards are still available to Legacy homeowners. Will be available for purchase at Annual Meeting.
Entrance intersection stop lines have been repainted.
A repair request has been sent for the intersection of Squealer Lake Trail and Button Buck Road.
Update on Middle School walkway landscaping needs: awaiting a letter from our attorney to be jointly signed by HOA and the homeowner adjacent to the walkway specifying agreement for landscape maintenance.
Damaged median posts will no longer be replaced.
The Legacy is at the end of the third year of a five year limited warranty for road resurfacing that was conducted in October 2020. Therefore, the HOA Board is investigating options for road replacement. To that end, your HOA board will meet with County Councilman, Mike Masciarelli, on September 21, 2023, to discuss the requirements and logistics for establishing a special taxing district as one option for paying for road replacement.

Secretary's Remarks:

There were two homeowner inquires via email that have been addressed...one construction request, one landscaping request.

The annual meeting will be on Saturday, November 11th at the Holy Lamb Lutheran Church on Forestbrook Road at 10:00 A.M.
