President’s Remarks:
- The May 2022 meeting minutes were approved.
- The Board sent a certified letter to Horry County Schools and Horry County Police Department regarding school traffic on Panther Parkway. The HOA president, Mike Burrell, had a meeting with representatives on Thursday, May 12, 2022 to discuss traffic flow strategies. Also, he requested a later trash pickup time for the Elementary school to minimize early morning (pre-dawn) noise. Update: HCS suggested we contact SCDOT to aid with traffic issues, specifically signage that blocks cars from getting off the pavement.
- Based on requests for the HOA Board to take action regarding harassment with drones, our legal team has developed options for policy additions for our consideration. Option 1: Restrict use with a fine schedule for infractions. Option 2: Register drone with HOA. Option 3: No change...currently falls under the nuisance restrictions and associated fine schedule. The vote was tabled until the next scheduled meeting in September.
