Meeting called to order at 5:30 PM on September 10th, 2019

 

Executive Board in Attendance

Todd Drew - Floater (temporary assignment, homeowners will cast official vote at annual meeting)

 

President’s Remarks 

  • The May 2019 meeting minutes were approved.
  • The recurring sink hole on Squealer Lake Trail has been repaired by Coastal Asphalt.  The estimate for the job was $9285.00. However, additional materials were consumed in order to accomplish the repair, so there may be additional charges.  To-date we have not received an invoice.
  • Coastal Asphalt will be quoting additional repair to our roads by adding a coating/overlay that will extend the life of the road up to 3 or 4 years.

Secretary's Remarks 

Emails received through "contact us" page were presented.  HOA president will respond to individual requests.

 

Committees:

Pool

The Pool will be closed for the season October 1st .  Correction for numbers presented at the board meeting relative to pool expenses:  The numbers presented represented the asset value.

 

ARB

No issues.  A few homeowners have applied to install pools.

 

Financial

13 homeowners are 1 year behind in paying HOA dues and 4 homeowners are 2 years behind.

 

Homeowners Forum - 6 homeowners in attendance

  • Multiple complaints relative to individual homeowners. Board response: HOA will remind the owner(s) of their responsibility to abide by covenants, conditions and restrictions.
  • Is there an update on the DOT owned lot? Board response: No, HOA will contact Sisbro properties for an update.
  • Concern about speeders in the neighborhood.  Board response:  option 1 - HOA filed with the Sheriff's office and other state offices the necessary paperwork for traffic law enforcement on June 12, 2019.  We will continue to pursue this option. Option 2 - With proper documentation from the observer, the HOA can follow-up with a letter to the offending homeowner.

 

Annual meeting will be held on November 9th, 2019 at the Holy Lamb Lutheran Church on Forestbrook Rd at 10:00 AM.
