Meeting called to order at 5:30 PM on May 10th, 2016

President’s Remarks
- Mike Burrell will serve as acting VP. Official vote to be held at November annual meeting.
- Earl Hawk is appointed pool chair, and is responsible for pool card distribution. Replacement cards will cost $100.
- Road improvement proposal. Possible $50 increase in HOA dues to be placed in interest-bearing account. Will be further discussed at next meeting.
- Action item: Willie will investigate the ramifications of turning roads over to the county.
Secretary's Remarks
The postcards advertising the new website went out, and the website has received 90+ visits.
Committees
Pool
- The pool is now open as of April 30th. Guidelines for use are on the FAQ tab of the website.
- A community pool in the area was recently vandalized. Please be vigilant of any suspicious activity and report instances to county police.
ARB
Property owner reported a fence being erected on property line. All fences need to be approved by the ARB. Form must be filled out and approved, or a $500 fine will be assessed. A letter will be sent to the homeowner notifying them of this violation.
Financial
55 homeowners have not paid dues. Small claims lawsuits will be pursued beginning in July.
Homeowners Forum - There were 10 homeowners in attendance.
- ATVs and go-karts racing at night -- Must be a licensed driver to operate a motor vehicle on streets, and all community residents are required to honor speed restrictions.
- Neighbor put fence on property line -- Letter to be sent to homeowner
- Inquiry about vacant home on Squealer Lake -- In foreclosure; out of HOA purview
- Vacant lot (Lot 311?) maintenance -- Aggi should maintain 25 feet from the road; Willie will contact them to perform maintenance on the lot.
- Street lights out on Hunters Trail -- If a homeowner notices a light out, get the lamp number and report it to Willie.
- Litter problems -- If you see it, pick it up. Otherwise, the HOA will have to cover the removal in the budget.
